Dr..K.PARIMALAKANTHI Mcom., MPhil., PGDCA., MBA., SET, Ph.D.,Professor & Head, Department of B.Com(BPS) and B.Com(B&I), Chairman of Women Redressal Committee and Students Grievance Cell . Dr. K. Parimalakanthi, richly experienced in teaching and research, is dedicated towards improving the performance, morale and skills of the student mass, by concentrating on their overall professional development. She is a strong believer of institutional building and utilizes her skills to motivate students by her research consultancy guiding technique. She also believes in utilizing her education in management to deliver professionalism, acquire theoretical knowledge, exposure and Career Building among student masses. She has through her rich experience created 25 M.Phil scholars and presently guiding 3 additional scholars in addition to enhancing quality education among students through her utmost dedicated guidance.

With 22 years of valuable teaching and research experience, Dr. K. Parimalakanthi has contributed greatly with her teaching skills in reaching out to the student community. She has participated in and conducted various programs, seminars, and workshops, enhancing the curricular development and training of students.

She has been awarded the Doctoral degree by Karpagam University in the year 2017, she has completed SET exam during October 2012, Completed MBA in finance during the year 2019 in Bharathiar University, secured the degree PGDCA during 2007 from Bharathiar University, she has been conferred with the Degree of Philosophy in Commerce by Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 1999, and Degree of Master of Commerce by Bharathiar University during the year 1993.

She has published more than 20 research papers in reputed Peer Reviewed Journals and has presented 39 papers in various Seminars and Conferences and had also acted as Resource Person for various National Seminars. She has organized 5 seminars and 5 workshops. She was the Board of Studies member in various Autonomous Institutions. Responsibilities held include Member of Anti Ragging Cell, Convener of Centre for Grievance against Women Harassment and Medicinal Garden, Member of Academic Monitoring Committee and Sports Advisory Committee.

As additional experiences Dr.K.Parimalakanthi has been a part time Instructor in the Govt Polytechnic for women, affiliated to the DTE, Tamil Nadu, and also a Lecturer in Commerce in GRG Polytechnic College, Coimbatore, previously served as Associate Professor Commerce in the PG and Research Department of Commerce at Sree Narayana Guru College, K.G.Chavadi, Coimbatore.
