Dr.K.GEETHA, M.Sc., M.Phil, UGC – SET, Ph. D., Associate Professor & Head, Department of Computer Applications started her career as a software engineer; worked on various projects in India and Singapore. Later she moved towards academic field which enriched with 17 years of teaching and learning experience. She has been awarded the Doctoral degree by Periyar University in the year 2019; she has completed her Masters in Computer science in Madurai Kamaraj University.

She has published 14 research papers in reputed peer reviewed journals and presented 22 research papers in various seminars and conferences; her h-index is 3 and i-10 index is 1. She successfully completed minor research project worth of Rs.10000 funded by TNSCT in the year 2005. She enriched her teaching methodologies through attending Faculty Development Programs like FDP101x,201x conducted by IIT-Bombay and cleared NPTEL courses with Elite and golden badges. As an invited speaker she delivered lectures in various institutions; acted as BoS member for other institution. She organised conference, Seminar and webinars.
