YRC

The Youth Red Cross is a voluntary organization that came into existence during the British reign and is still continuing to successfully in areas of promoting humanitarian values and principles, disaster response, disaster preparedness and health and community care. The Youth Red Cross (YRC) of SKACAS was initiated in the year 2019, under the programme-ship of Dr.Sathiyaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil.

The YRC club of the college functions actively and is regularly engaged in activities of social relevance. The volunteers of the club involve in activities such as organising blood donation camps, donating blood, conducting rallies promoting different causes and observing various days of National importance. The volunteers are provided exposure to different areas of learning through these activities where they develop skills of leadership and team spirit.
