Graduates can pursue careers in IT companies, software firms, banks, corporate organizations, BPOs, and KPOs. Students may also opt for higher studies such as MBA, MCA, M.Com., M.Com. (CA), ACCA, MIB, or MSW.

The B.Com (Computer Applications) program describe accomplishments that graduates are expected to attain within five to seven years after graduation

• Striving for independent thinkers and personal growth the Department offers Spoken Tutorial and Digital Marketing certification.

• Four Workshops on virtual trading, securities market awareness, GST filing, and investment fundamentals enhanced students’ practical and professional skills.
• An industry expert session on financial statement analysis provided professional insights to students.
• 12 Multiple awareness programmes were organized on drug-free living, legal rights, consumer rights, financial planning, and social well-being to promote responsible and informed citizenship.
• Four Online quizzes were conducted to enhance subject knowledge, awareness, and active student participation.
• 10 Various competitions including video contests, poster presentations, photography, essay writing, pencil sketching, selfie contests, and short films encouraged creativity and self-expression.
• An inter-department competition was organized to foster unity, collaboration, and enthusiasm among students.
• A mega signature campaign was conducted to spread large-scale anti-drug awareness, reaching a vast number of beneficiaries.

• Seven Awareness programmes were organized on child labour prevention, drug abuse, anti-ragging, voters’ rights, social responsibility, and public welfare to sensitize students on social issues and civic responsibility.
• Five Alumni talks were organized to guide students on career opportunities, campus placements, future skills, pre-placement training, and professional growth.
• Two Expert talks were held on careers in photography and technical concepts to enhance students’ domain knowledge.
• A seminar on security markets and the role of regulators was conducted to introduce students to capital market operations.
• A workshop on research methodology was organized to familiarize students with research concepts and practices.
• Three E-quizzes were conducted on photography, democracy, and consumer rights to promote awareness and knowledge enhancement.
• 13 Various competitions such as drawing, slogan writing, poster presentation, essay writing, photo contests, video contests, selfie contests, and interdepartmental events were organized to encourage creativity, participation, and expression.

• A webinar on Financial Literacy was conducted to enhance students’ understanding of basic financial concepts and money management.
• Five seminars were organized on entrepreneurship, investment awareness, electronic payment systems, revenue management, and income tax provisions to strengthen students’ academic and practical knowledge.
• A visit to an orphanage was carried out to instill social responsibility and community service values among students.
• The Department Valedictory Function was conducted to commemorate the completion of the academic year and recognize students’ achievements.

2021-2022

• 13 Webinars were organized on diverse themes such as intellectual property rights, POCSO awareness, health, emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, taxation, design thinking, legal awareness, branding, and social responsibility to enhance students’ academic, professional, and life skills.
• A seminar on Petroleum Conservation and Risk Factors of LPG Gas was conducted to create awareness about energy conservation and safety measures.
• Two Alumni interaction sessions were organized to guide B. Com CA students by sharing academic orientation, career guidance, and professional experiences.
• A photography club activity on Underwater Photography was held to develop students’ creative and technical skills.
• Two Quizzes related to World Students’ Day and Vigilance Awareness were conducted to promote awareness, integrity, and active student participation.

2020-2021

• Three webinars were organized on life skills and career guidance to support students’ personal development and career planning.
• Various photo contests were organized during Diwali, Christmas & New Year, and Pongal celebrations to encourage creativity and cultural participation among students.
• Pledges were conducted in connection with National Voters’ Day to promote civic responsibility.
