Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science (SKACAS), as part of Sri Krishna Institutions (since 1980), was established in May 2015 with the motto ‘Grooming Leaders for the Twenty-first Century’. We are affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, offering a total of 25 under-graduate, post-graduate and research courses. We have 3800+ students and 140+ teaching and non-teaching faculty members associated with the institution, with a student teacher ratio of about 25:1. Our faculties are recruited with utmost care, adding to our club of 31 doctorates, 34 professionals with MPhil and more than 75% of the faculty NET/SET qualified.

Adding to our well-qualified faculty members, we follow a practice where one chapter of the syllabus is completely handled by industry experts, so as to provide practical knowledge to the students, facilitated by the intricate nuances shared by the resource persons. Students are also provided the opportunity to professionally equip themselves with different nationally and internationally recognized certifications, enhancing the hiring index of each student who enters the college.

We have tie-ups with corporates like Tata Consultancy Services, Oracle, and Infosys towards vocational training, allowing our students to grow personally and professionally. Our membership under various initiatives of the government like MGNGRE, IIC, NCC, NSS, YRC, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan allow students to contribute towards our commitment to the community. The institution also provides for other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities through our fests and inter-collegiate events such as the Adhirudra, Adhipradhana, Adhividhya, Adithya Infominds, Adhiberry and Adithya’s Vignana, instilling leadership and sports spirit in the growing propellants of tomorrow.

Our campus provides a nature-oriented learning environment, with an approximate 76 acre campus, situated at the foothills of the Western Ghats. The institution delivers quality education to our students, at par with global standards, through latest technological innovation and assistance, with all classrooms high-end ICT enabled. We follow a sustenance-oriented lifestyle with a ‘GO GREEN’ initiative, with effective waste management strategies in place, which we instill in our students for the greater good.

Our multi-faceted efforts and initiatives ensure that students are mentored in hard skills and soft skills, so as to be responsible individuals and citizens vide tailor-made measures, with readiness to meet the increasing demands of the present day.
