The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning was established in the year 2022 with dedicated, well–qualified faculty, technical staff and students. The Department offers the programmes B.Sc Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with the sanction strength of UG 60 students.

OBJECTIVE

Objectives:

  • Impart rigorous training to generate knowledge through the state-of-the-art concepts and technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Initiate, sustain and nourish research groups in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Establish centres of excellence in leading areas of computing and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Transform the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a leader in imparting Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning education and research.
  • Motivate the learner community for exploiting the potential of start-ups and innovations in this area and connecting them with the real-life problems of industry.

Investigate with a machine learning model for simulation and analysis and explore the scope, potential, limitations, and implications of intelligent systems.

  • In collaboration with Tamil Department, Imparting the bondage of regional language and escalate the richness of the language in Wikipedia through the Workshop “KaniniTamil”
