Dr. K. CHITRA, MBA, MSc., M.Phil., Ph.D Associate Professor & HEAD, Computer Science, has 22.6 years of experience in teaching. She is also the Convenor, R&D Cell. She has completed her Post Graduate Degree in Master of Computer Science in Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education, Coimbatore. She has obtained her Master of Philosophy in Computer Science from VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore with specialization in networking. She completed PhD from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education, Coimbatore.

She has participated and presented many International and National Conferences. She also participated in FDPs, Workshops and Seminars. She has published many research papers in International Journals. She has also organized FDP, Seminars and Workshops for the Students, research scholars and faculty.
