The faculty and student exchange program was inaugurated today by the Chief Guest Mr.R.Saravana Kumar former Director of Cognizant Technology Solutions. 29 students from KES SHROFF college of Arts and Commerce and Yuvakeshethra Institute of Management Studies are participating in the five day event along with 3 faculty members. The Chief Guest Mr. R.Saravanakumar Former Director of Cognizant Technology Solutions gave an orientation to the students on the importantance of soft skills on today’s competitive world. During his speech he focused and emphasised the essentials and needs of soft skills . He sighted several studies on how soft skills have enabled the student community to gain confidence and rebuild their career. The session was informative and was attended by 200 plus under graduate students.hYb

Dr.E.K.Girisan, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Head, Department of Computer Technology, SKACAS, delivered a talk on Design Thinking. Students took part in the session enthusiastically and interacted by asking the questions. The resource person cited examples of how organisations have used Design Thinking to enhance their Business.

Mr. Syed Haroon Abdul Gafoor, Azure DevOps Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Technical Coordinator at Kovai.co(Corporates Technical Trainer) delivered an expert talk about the Microsoft Azure along with Cloud Computing, Scrum Master’s working and the working of DevOps (Developement & Operations) and their services. The session recorded enthusiasts participation by the audience . The resource person gave a complete idea about Microsoft Azure and the DevOps.

Mr.C.Rahuram, Placement Officer of SKACAS organizated various management activities to test creativity and critical thinking and the session was filled with fun and team spirit. and worked Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science, Coimbatore. He conducted activity on Logical thinking of success and Lateral Thinking puzzles..

Dr.K.Santhiya, from BSC IT Department of SKACAS. Had training on “Data Visualisation using Tableau”. Students learnt a lot on the Data Visualisation tool – Tableau. They had excellent hands-on experience on the tool. They worked on basic and advanced charts as well. It is going to be really useful for future research work & projects.
