Objective

• The Students of Literature are trained in creative, exploratory and professional writing where they can work in genres like fiction, poetry, memoir, literary journalism, editing and business communications.

EVENT ORGANIZED BY OUR DEPARTMENT

• Street play enacted by the students of I B.A English literature on 29.12.18.
• Celebrated the Valediction of Literary Association LIT’RAZ. The theme of the programme was Gothic Literature. Students dressed up themselves as monsters, demons, witches, ghosts, banshees, vampires and other supernatural creatures from the famous literary works.
• One day national seminar on Art of Effective Communication, Dr. S. P Dhanavel, Professor of English, IIT Madras was the Resource Person for the seminar on 09.03.19.
• Soliloquy on the topic “No Fear Shakespeare” An impeccable performance by the Students of BA English literature.
