The Department of Mathematics was established in 2016. The department offers opportunities for the education and research in a wide spectrum of areas in Mathematics such as: Algebra, Analysis, Control Theory, Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics, Operations Research, Stochastic Modeling and Analysis, Special Functions, Topological Dynamics, Statistics etc.

We provide beginners with bridge courses to become acquainted with the preliminaries of mathematics and the techniques to use and train them in the rigor and precision characteristic of mathematical reasoning.

Along with teaching, our faculty members are actively engaged in research by participating in conferences/ seminars/ collaborative works at the national and international institutes/ universities.

The department has strongly motivated faculty with diverse specialization in Mathematical sciences providing a potential for pursuing higher studies and research in basic sciences as well as in interdisciplinary areas of science, engineering and technology.

The Department of Mathematics strives to be internationally recognized for academic excellence through in-depth teaching and research methodology, and its role in the development of the community it serves.

The department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers, enabling them to become lifelong learners, to continue to grow in their chosen professions, and to function as productive citizens. It makes the students as technology-oriented Mathematicians through activity based teaching and learning process.

The Department offers under graduation in Mathematics. The primary goal of the Department is to train all students to think logically and critically and also help in their projects in order to motivate young minds to get them into research career related with Mathematical Sciences.

The study of Mathematics can show the way to a variety of exciting professional careers like Teaching, Banking sectors, Finance, Business, and Government Services etc. All the time more, companies are looking for graduates with potential capabilities in thinking and troubleshooting. Here, in the Department the faculties are sincerely practicing students to make them placed in well-paying jobs.

The primary objective of the Math Club is to foster a community of students around a common interest in Mathematics. This will be accomplished by using games, activities, and mock competitions. Students will cooperatively work to complete Logic and Math Puzzles. Math Club will support classroom learning, enrich their skills with higher order thinking, and prepare students for future Math Competitions. Our Maths club makes the students to enrich their math vocabulary and also makes them to gain insight into application of Mathematics in Engineering and applied sciences. The prime motive of our club is “Eliminating the fear of Mathematics and creating a passion for the subject”. Hope, we are achieving those things through Maths Club.
